Elisabeth Fowell Senior Consultant
Lizzie graduated from Surrey University in 1983 with a degree in Hotel
& Catering Administration. Her career started with Gardner Merchant (now
Sodexo) as a management trainee. She was promoted to catering manager at
SG Warburg, then to area manager in London responsible for contracts at
HSBC, Bupa, RICS, Cancer Research and Hanson among others. In 1992 Lizzie
moved into a Business Development role within the Independent Schools
Division. Lizzie left Sodexo in 2001, joining Cater Link as Sales Director
specialising within the education market.
Whilst at Cater Link, Lizzie was responsible for building up the portfolio
of schools from twenty to over two hundred in the space of nine years.
During that time the company's turnover grew from £4 million to £25
million earning them the Sunday Times's accolade of being the 5th
fastest growing company in the country.
After 27 years within the industry Lizzie has moved into catering
management consultancy for ISCC. She brings with her a wealth of
experience in analysing catering operations being able to offer our
clients a comprehensive consultancy service
Steve Acton Senior Consultant
Steve Acton has joined ISCC as Senior Consultant with specific responsibility for food development within our Independent School Client portfolio.
Steve was previously Executive Chef at Cater Link and has over five years' experience specifically within the education catering market. Previous to this role, Steve was Development Chef for one of the world's most successful investment specialists, Fidelity International, based in the City
